Iggy – The New Classic!

I met Iggy Azalea yesterday & went to her show last night here in Toronto. I can’t express how impressed I was with the way she handled herself & treated her fans. Her music may be raw, but she’s an absolute sweetheart. At the meet & greet she stayed way past the time she was supposed to be there so she could spend a few minutes talking to each individual fan, taking pics & signing autographs. There was even a father who came to tell Iggy how much his daughter loves her but couldn’t be there. Iggy got on his phone and called his daughter to speak to her & say thank you. I told her how I thought it was dope that she was so humble & cared to talk to each fan the way she did. She looked at me a little confused and said “Of course. Why wouldn’t I?” So genuine. And again at her concert, she performed, then asked the club to turn the lights on so that she could hang out & take pics with fans.
I’ve met a lot of artists & been to a lot of events, and never have I seen someone so appreciative and dedicated to their fans. She fully understands that without them she wouldn’t be living out her dreams. I liked Iggy before for her music, but now I’m truly a fan!
